Huawei Watch GT 6 India Launch Leak: Two Sizes, Stylish Colors, Long Battery

Huawei Watch GT 6 India Launch Leak: Two Sizes, Stylish Colors, Long Battery New Delhi – July 23, 2025 By Michael B. Norris, Senior Tech Correspondent   When I ran my first half-marathon wearing the Huawei Watch GT 5, I didn’t expect it to outperform my chest strap monitor. It was early morning, cool winds cutting through Lodhi Gardens, and I’d just passed the 8km mark.  That’s when I glanced down at the GT 5 - expecting some lag or off-reading.  But no - it was spot-on, closely mirroring my Polar heart rate strap. Even after two hours, the battery barely budged. That experience marked a turning point in how I viewed Huawei's smartwatches.  The Watch GT series has always leaned into endurance over extravagance.  With the Watch GT 6 expected this fall, Huawei seems to be refining this formula - this time offering two case sizes and an array of bold new colors aimed at casual users and fitness-minded customers alike. But behind the color names and numbers lies som...

Infinix has officially launched the GT 30 Pro in India on June 9, 2025, targeting mobile gamers in the under ₹25,000 price range.

The smartphone features an advanced cooling system, high refresh rate AMOLED display, and dedicated gaming enhancements.

It is also the first device globally to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor, according to the company.

Designed for Gaming in India

With the mobile gaming market growing rapidly across India, Infinix aims to serve young gamers and tech enthusiasts with the GT 30 Pro.

The device combines aggressive hardware and software features suited for high-performance gaming.

According to Infinix India’s official newsroom, the GT 30 Pro includes a 6-layer 3D Vapor Chamber Cooling System to manage heat during extended gaming sessions.

It also supports bypass charging, which reduces the temperature by up to 4.5°C during charging, ensuring smooth performance without thermal throttling.

The company said that its new smartphone is "built to withstand marathon gaming sessions while delivering consistent frame rates and performance."

Powerful Hardware with Dimensity 8350 Ultimate

The GT 30 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Ultimate SoC, which delivers a balance between performance and efficiency.

This marks the global debut of this processor, making Infinix the first brand to integrate it into a commercial device.

The phone achieved a Geekbench multi-core score of 4082, according to internal testing.

It is available in two RAM variants: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB, supporting further virtual RAM expansion.

Visual Design and RGB Aesthetics

The phone adopts Cyber Mecha Design 2.0, a futuristic look inspired by modular machinery. It is available in Dark Flare and Blade White finishes.

A standout feature is its programmable rear RGB lighting, which can be customized for different triggers such as incoming calls, notifications, and in-game actions.

The lights enhance immersion, especially for gamers playing in dim settings.

Gaming Enhancements

Infinix has included several gaming-focused features:

Esports Mode: AI-optimized performance tuning

XBOOST: Intelligent resource management

Shoulder Triggers: For console-like control

AI Audio and Haptic Enhancements: More responsive and immersive gameplay

These additions help reduce latency, improve control, and deliver an experience that appeals to serious mobile gamers.

Display and Battery

The GT 30 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1224 x 2720 pixels and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate.

The vibrant display helps deliver a competitive edge, especially in first-person shooters and racing games.

Powering the device is a 5500 mAh battery, which supports fast charging.

The included charger can power up the phone in under an hour, making it ideal for users who need quick top-ups between sessions.

Pricing and Availability

The GT 30 Pro is priced from ₹24,999 in India. It is available through major e-commerce retailers and offline stores starting this week.

The phone offers competitive specifications for its price, especially for those prioritizing gaming features and cooling efficiency.

Market Impact

With the launch of the GT 30 Pro, Infinix is making a bold entry into India’s mid-range gaming smartphone segment.

The phone combines visual appeal, gaming-grade specs, and thermal management to stand out in a highly competitive market.

According to Counterpoint Research, India’s gaming smartphone market is expected to grow at over 15% CAGR over the next three years.

Infinix appears to be positioning itself strongly to ride this trend with devices like the GT 30 Pro.

Author’s Opinion: Michael B. Norris

The GT 30 Pro’s launch is more than just another mid-range phone drop. By pairing a new processor with aggressive gaming features and RGB aesthetics, Infinix is clearly targeting a growing niche.

The choice to offer bypass charging and vapor cooling under ₹25K is likely to attract gamers who previously had to stretch their budgets for similar specs.

However, long-term success will depend on software support, performance stability, and how well Infinix keeps the community engaged post-launch.

vivo iQOO Neo 10 5G 256GB 8GB RAM Gsm Unlocked Phone Qualcomm SM8735 Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 50MP

vivo iQOO Neo 10 5G 256GB 8GB RAM Gsm Unlocked Phone Qualcomm SM8735 Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 50MP I still remember reviewing my first iQOO phone back in early 2021 - the Neo 3. It was a curious little device that delivered flagship-grade speed at a fraction of the price.  It didn’t have the polish of a OnePlus or the hype of a Xiaomi launch, but it had something better: raw, unfiltered performance.  Fast -forward four years, and I’m holding the new iQOO Neo 10 - a phone that, once again, punches above its weight. This time, iQOO has made a bold move. The Neo 10 is the first smartphone in India to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, an SoC that sits just below the flagship 8 Gen 4.  The device also debuts with Android 15, a 144Hz AMOLED screen, a massive 7,000mAh battery, and a 50MP Sony camera - all starting at ₹31,999. In a market where every brand claims to offer value, iQOO has actually delivered it.  But does it hold up under real-world use? I spent s...

Xiaomi Android 16 Update Rollout Begins: Xiaomi 15, 14T Pro First to Get HyperOS 2.3

Xiaomi Android 16 Update Rollout Begins: Xiaomi 15, 14T Pro First to Get HyperOS 2.3 By Michael B. Norris New Delhi – July 19, 2025 Personal Story & Expertise Back in early 2023, I found myself staring at the screen of my Xiaomi 13 Pro during a business trip in Shenzhen, waiting impatiently for the HyperOS beta to install. It was the first time I realized Xiaomi was quietly moving away from MIUI, and toward something more ambitious - HyperOS. Over the last two years, I’ve tracked this evolution up close, testing builds on everything from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra to the more modest Redmi Note 13 5G. Today, with Android 16 now officially rolling out to select Xiaomi devices ahead of schedule, there’s a sense of déjà vu — except this time, Xiaomi isn’t playing catch-up. It’s leading. While Samsung and OnePlus are still finalizing internal testing, Xiaomi has already pushed the first wave of stable Android 16 builds, paired with HyperOS 2.3, to its global users. But what’s actually changed...

Xiaomi HyperOS 3 Lock Screen Fonts Revealed: ZhuZi A YuanS, Coca Cola Care Coming Soon

Xiaomi HyperOS 3 Lock Screen Fonts Revealed: ZhuZi A YuanS, Coca Cola Care Coming Soon Published on Jul. 19, 2025 \ By Michael B. Norris 8+ years exp in covering UX design I still remember the first time I tried to customize my Xiaomi lock screen. It was 2021, and I had just unboxed a Redmi Note 10 Pro. Sleek body, decent camera - but when I went to tweak the font to match my wallpaper's mood, the options were underwhelming. Basic sans-serifs, a few heavyweights, but nothing expressive. As someone who believes typography isn’t just decoration - it’s emotion - I felt boxed in. Last week, while exploring the latest test builds in the Mi Code repository, I noticed something new. Tucked within lines of UI change logs were two unfamiliar font entries: FZFW ZhuZi A YuanS and Coca Cola Care . At first, I thought they were internal test fonts. But then it clicked - Xiaomi is preparing to make fonts a bigger part of personal expression in its upcoming HyperOS 3 update, expected to launch th...
