Poco F7 India Launch in June with Bigger Battery

New Poco F7 smartphone to launch globally this month

Poco F7 India Launch in June with Bigger Battery

Summary Box:

Poco F7 may launch in India by mid-June 2025, likely June 17 or 19.

The Indian model could have a 7,550mAh battery, larger than the global version.

It may feature Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, up to 16GB RAM, and Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.

Poco F7 is expected to launch in global markets later this month.

According to a report published by IndiaTimes on June 4, 2025, the phone may debut in India around the same time—likely on June 17 or June 19. Smartprix Report

The phone is rumored to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which was recently launched in China.

If this is accurate, Indian consumers may see a powerful mid-range device featuring the latest specifications and a competitive price.

India and Global Launch Timeline

As per Smartprix, Poco F7’s global launch will happen in the third week of June. India is expected to get the same model on the same day as the global launch.

The device may come in three versions: Poco F7 (standard), Poco F7 Pro, and Poco F7 Ultra.

The Pro and Ultra models were launched earlier in March in selected global markets.

Likely Specifications and Software

The standard Poco F7 is expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

It may include up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. This will make it one of the most powerful phones in its segment.

On the software side, the phone is expected to run HyperOS 2.0, which is based on Android 15.

Display and Build

All variants of the Poco F7 are expected to have a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The screen is expected to offer vibrant visuals with smooth performance.

In terms of durability, the phone could come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, which means it will be resistant to dust and water.

A metal middle frame and IR blaster are also expected.

Camera Features

Poco F7 is rumored to include a dual rear camera setup.

It may feature a 50-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary lens.

For selfies and video calls, a 20-megapixel front camera may be provided.

These specifications align with those found in the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, strengthening the idea that Poco F7 is based on that model.

Battery and Charging

One of the biggest highlights is the difference in battery capacities between the Indian and global variants:

Indian variant: Expected to feature a 7,550mAh battery

Global variant: Likely to include a 6,550mAh battery

Both variants are expected to support 90W fast wired charging.

This will offer a fast and efficient charging experience, especially for users who rely on their phones throughout the day.

Poco F7 Pro and Ultra Details

The Poco F7 Pro and Ultra were launched in some markets earlier this year.

The F7 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and comes with a 6,000mAh battery.

The Poco F7 Ultra is powered by the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

It includes a 5,300mAh battery, a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 main camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2.5x optical zoom.

These higher-end variants give users more choice depending on their needs.

What to Expect Next

Poco has not officially confirmed the Poco F7’s launch date or full specifications.

However, based on leaks and consistent reports, a mid-June launch seems likely.

Users in India looking for a high-performance smartphone with a large battery may want to keep an eye on Poco’s official announcements in the coming days.

Author’s Opinion – Michael B. Norris, Tech Correspondent, TrendingAlone

The possible launch of Poco F7 in India with a larger battery shows that brands are adapting their products to regional needs.

In India, long battery life is often a major factor for buyers, especially in areas with limited power access.

If Poco manages pricing well and supports long-term software updates, the F7 could become a popular pick in the sub-premium market.

However, it will face strong competition from brands like Realme, iQOO, and Samsung.

The final appeal may depend on pricing and availability during launch.

Huawei Watch GT 6 India Launch Leak: Two Sizes, Stylish Colors, Long Battery

Huawei Watch GT 6 India Launch Leak: Two Sizes, Stylish Colors, Long Battery New Delhi – July 23, 2025 By Michael B. Norris, Senior Tech Correspondent   When I ran my first half-marathon wearing the Huawei Watch GT 5, I didn’t expect it to outperform my chest strap monitor. It was early morning, cool winds cutting through Lodhi Gardens, and I’d just passed the 8km mark.  That’s when I glanced down at the GT 5 - expecting some lag or off-reading.  But no - it was spot-on, closely mirroring my Polar heart rate strap. Even after two hours, the battery barely budged. That experience marked a turning point in how I viewed Huawei's smartwatches.  The Watch GT series has always leaned into endurance over extravagance.  With the Watch GT 6 expected this fall, Huawei seems to be refining this formula - this time offering two case sizes and an array of bold new colors aimed at casual users and fitness-minded customers alike. But behind the color names and numbers lies som...

Nokia 5G Mobile New Launch: HMD Pulse 2, Crest 2, Bold Series Specs Leaked Ahead of India Debut

Nokia 5G Mobile New Launch: HMD Pulse 2, Crest 2, Bold Series Specs Leaked Ahead of India Debut Mumbai | July 22, 2025 I still remember standing in a cramped electronics shop in Karol Bagh, Delhi, back in 2017, clutching my last ₹10,000 and scanning the budget smartphone shelves with quiet desperation.  My previous phone - a once-reliable Nokia - had finally quit on me. I wanted something simple, durable, and capable of running the basics without overheating or dying halfway through the day.  What I got instead was a sluggish, ad-riddled Chinese model that began freezing within weeks. Ever since then, I’ve paid close attention to the budget smartphone space - not as a tech reviewer, but as someone who knows what it’s like when every rupee counts. That’s why the latest leaks around HMD Global - the company that once brought Nokia phones back into relevance - caught my attention. This isn’t just another spec dump. It’s potentially a quiet revolution in the sub-₹15,000 market. A...

HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 Launched in India: 2000-Nit OLED, Glide Keyboard, Stylus Support

HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 Launched in India: 2000-Nit OLED, Glide Keyboard, Stylus Support By Michael B Norris - July 25, 2025   I Left My Laptop Behind - And Didn’t Regret It Last month, I was en route to a regional tech forum in Kuala Lumpur. My usual travel companion? A compact but heavy ultrabook that’s been my workhorse for years. But this time, by accident more than intention, I left it charging at the office.  What I had in my bag instead was the newly released HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 inch, still wrapped in review plastic and paired with its Glide Keyboard and M-Pencil. With deadlines looming and hours of panel coverage ahead, the panic should’ve hit me - but surprisingly, it didn’t. Over the next three days, I typed reports, edited video snippets, drew rough infographic sketches, and livestreamed commentary - all from this 508g tablet. It wasn’t just functional; it was liberating. That field experience is what makes the “Can tablets replace laptops?” debate more real th...
