Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G With 6,000mAh Battery May Launch Under ₹10,000

Quick Summary

Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G will feature a 6,000mAh battery and dual rear camera.

It is tipped to be priced at ₹9,999 and ₹11,999 for 4GB and 6GB RAM variants.

The phone will offer MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and HD+ display.

Realme has officially teased the launch of its upcoming budget smartphone, the Narzo 80 Lite 5G, on June 10, 2025.

Although the company has not announced the exact launch date, a teaser has gone live on Amazon India, revealing key specifications, colour options, and pricing hints.

The phone is expected to be priced under ₹10,000, making it one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in India.

Aimed at Budget-Conscious 5G Users

According to details shared on the Amazon microsite, the Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G will sport a large 6,000mAh battery, designed to offer up to 15.7 hours of YouTube playback or up to 46.6 hours of continuous calling on a full charge.

Reverse charging is supported as well. This could appeal to users looking for a long-lasting smartphone under a tight budget.

Key Features and Specifications Revealed

Realme confirmed that the Narzo 80 Lite 5G will be 7.94mm thick and offer MIL-STD-810H durability certification, which means it should handle minor drops and rough conditions better than average budget smartphones.

As per leaks cited by industry insiders, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which is optimized for budget 5G devices.

It is also expected to feature a dual rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel main sensor, and an HD+ resolution display.

RAM, Storage, and Colour Variants

Sources familiar with Realme’s product roadmap have suggested that the Narzo 80 Lite 5G will be available in two configurations:

4GB RAM + 128GB storage at ₹9,999

6GB RAM + 128GB storage at ₹11,999

Colour options include Crystal Purple and Onyx Black, adding a youthful and modern look to the device.

Design Language and Physical Overview

Images teased on Amazon show the smartphone with a rectangular rear camera module and a smooth finish.

The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right side, similar to other Realme models.

It appears to follow a familiar design language introduced with the Narzo 80x and Narzo 80 Pro.

Comparison With Other Narzo 80 Series Models

The Narzo 80 Lite 5G will join the previously launched Narzo 80 Pro 5G and Narzo 80x 5G, both of which were introduced in April 2025.

Availability and Sales

While the launch date is still awaited, the Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G will be available for purchase on Amazon India once released.

Interested buyers can already visit the Amazon teaser page for updates and notifications.

According to sources within Realme’s retail network, the phone is likely to hit shelves later this month, subject to official confirmation.

A Growing Market for Entry-Level 5G Phones

With smartphone prices rising due to global chip shortages and inflation, Realme’s decision to place the Narzo 80 Lite 5G under ₹10,000 is expected to shake up the entry-level 5G segment.

According to IDC’s Q1 2025 report, India’s smartphone shipments dropped by 6% year-on-year, but demand for budget 5G devices remains strong.

Market analysts believe Realme is positioning itself as a leader in the affordable 5G space, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

In short

The Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G promises to deliver solid performance, long battery life, and 5G connectivity at an affordable price point.

If the expected specifications and price hold true, it could become a strong competitor in the sub-₹12,000 segment.

As the official launch date nears, all eyes are on Realme to see how it delivers in this crowded market.

Michael B Norris Author’s Opinion

While Realme’s move to offer a 5G phone under ₹10,000 is a bold and strategic choice, the success will depend heavily on software optimization and the user experience.

A 6,000mAh battery is promising, but without fast charging, long charging times could be a concern.

If the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 lives up to expectations, Realme may have a winner in this budget bracket.

Galaxy S25 FE Launch Date Leaked: September 19 Debut with Slimmer Design, Faster Charging

I still remember that autumn evening at the 2024 Galaxy S24 FE launch, standing under the dazzling launch lights, feeling the phone’s sleek body in my palm and noting how its 6.7-inch AMOLED display felt brighter in real world daylight than on glossy invite slides - an unexpected delight. One UI 8 Beta Begins for Galaxy Phones: Full List of Eligible Devices Revealed

One UI 8 Testing Has Started: Full List of Samsung Galaxy Phones Eligible for the Android 16 Update I still remember the buzz in our newsroom the first time Samsung introduced One UI back in 2018. I had just wrapped up my hands-on review of the Galaxy S9 when our test unit unexpectedly received the One UI beta overnight. Xiaomi Android 16 Update Rollout Begins: Xiaomi 15, 14T Pro First to Get HyperOS 2.3

Xiaomi Android 16 Update Rollout Begins: Xiaomi 15, 14T Pro First to Get HyperOS 2.3 By Michael B. Norris New Delhi – July 19, 2025 Personal Story & Expertise Back in early 2023, I found myself staring at the screen of my Xiaomi 13 Pro during a business trip in Shenzhen, waiting impatiently for the HyperOS beta to install. It was the first time I realized Xiaomi was quietly moving away from MIUI, and toward something more ambitious - HyperOS. Over the last two years, I’ve tracked this evolution up close, testing builds on everything from the Xiaomi 14 Ultra to the more modest Redmi Note 13 5G. Today, with Android 16 now officially rolling out to select Xiaomi devices ahead of schedule, there’s a sense of déjà vu — except this time, Xiaomi isn’t playing catch-up. It’s leading. While Samsung and OnePlus are still finalizing internal testing, Xiaomi has already pushed the first wave of stable Android 16 builds, paired with HyperOS 2.3, to its global users. But what’s actually changed...
