The product is listed on Mi UK’s official site and is expected to roll out to other global markets soon.

Design and Build

The Redmi Buds 6 Lite adopt a traditional in-ear design with rounded stems and silicone ear tips. This design helps create a secure seal for effective passive noise isolation.

Each earbud weighs only 4.2 grams, making them lightweight and comfortable for extended use.

The charging case, which includes a magnetic lid and USB Type-C port, has a minimalist design with an LED pulse indicator on the front.

Combined with the earbuds, the total weight of the case and the earphones is 47 grams.

Key Specifications and Features

Audio and Noise Cancellation

The Buds 6 Lite come with 12.4mm titanium dynamic drivers, which are engineered to deliver clear audio with balanced bass and treble.

One of the standout features is the up to 40dB of active noise cancellation, which helps reduce background noise in busy environments such as traffic or public transport.

The dual-microphone system is backed by AI-based noise reduction for improved call clarity.

Users can switch between different listening modes via the Xiaomi Earbuds app.

Connectivity and App Support

The earphones support Bluetooth 5.3, providing a stable connection and reduced latency.

They are also compatible with the Xiaomi Earbuds app, which allows users to:

Switch ANC levels

Customize EQ settings

Update firmware

Check battery status

Four preset EQ modes are available:

Standard

Enhance Treble

Enhance Bass

Enhance Voice

Users can also create a custom EQ profile.

Battery Life and Charging

Each earbud houses a 45mAh battery, while the charging case packs a 480mAh cell.

Redmi claims that the earbuds can deliver up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge.

With the charging case, users can get a total of up to 38 hours of playback time.

Charging is done through a USB Type-C port, offering convenience and faster top-ups.

Market Position and Competition

With its budget pricing and premium features like ANC and app support, the Redmi Buds 6 Lite are expected to compete with similarly priced models from Realme, boAt, and Noise in emerging markets.

The integration with the Xiaomi ecosystem also gives it an edge among users already using Redmi or Xiaomi smartphones.

What Experts Say

According to The Hindu industry analysts, Redmi’s strategy of bringing flagship-level features to entry-level segments continues with the Buds 6 Lite.

The use of Bluetooth 5.3, ANC, and custom EQ options at this price point reflects Xiaomi’s intention to dominate the affordable TWS category globally.

The launch of the Redmi Buds 6 Lite seems to be a well-calculated move by Xiaomi to reinforce its dominance in the budget audio segment.

With ANC and customizable EQ settings usually found in premium models, these earbuds could appeal to both casual and tech-savvy users.

Realme P3 5G 8GB/256GB 6.6 Black Launched in India: 90FPS Gaming, IP69, latest Price

Realme P3 5G 8GB/256GB 6.6 Black Launched in India: 90FPS Gaming, IP69, latest Price New Delhi | July 21, 2025 By Michael B. Norris   A Gamer’s Surprise in a Budget Body I still remember the look on Aman’s face - an 18-year-old mobile gamer from West Delhi - when his older brother handed him the box. It was his birthday. Inside: the newly launched realme P3 5G. “I thought he’d get me a Redmi Note 14 or maybe the Moto G85,” Aman told me, his eyes still wide. “But this one runs BGMI at 90FPS. I was like - ‘What phone is this!?’” That was last week. I’ve spent the past five days with the realme P3 5G in my pocket, watching how it performs - not just on paper but under the scorching sun, inside Metro trains, and yes, through back-to-back BGMI matches at Rajouri Garden's underground gaming zone. This article isn’t just a spec recap. It’s a detailed exploration of how the realme P3 5G is shaping user sentiment in India, how it compares to rivals like the Redmi Note 14 and Moto G85, and w...

HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 Launched in India: 2000-Nit OLED, Glide Keyboard, Stylus Support

HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 Launched in India: 2000-Nit OLED, Glide Keyboard, Stylus Support By Michael B Norris - July 25, 2025   I Left My Laptop Behind - And Didn’t Regret It Last month, I was en route to a regional tech forum in Kuala Lumpur. My usual travel companion? A compact but heavy ultrabook that’s been my workhorse for years. But this time, by accident more than intention, I left it charging at the office.  What I had in my bag instead was the newly released HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 inch, still wrapped in review plastic and paired with its Glide Keyboard and M-Pencil. With deadlines looming and hours of panel coverage ahead, the panic should’ve hit me - but surprisingly, it didn’t. Over the next three days, I typed reports, edited video snippets, drew rough infographic sketches, and livestreamed commentary - all from this 508g tablet. It wasn’t just functional; it was liberating. That field experience is what makes the “Can tablets replace laptops?” debate more real th...

Huawei Watch GT 6 India Launch Leak: Two Sizes, Stylish Colors, Long Battery

Huawei Watch GT 6 India Launch Leak: Two Sizes, Stylish Colors, Long Battery New Delhi – July 23, 2025 By Michael B. Norris, Senior Tech Correspondent   When I ran my first half-marathon wearing the Huawei Watch GT 5, I didn’t expect it to outperform my chest strap monitor. It was early morning, cool winds cutting through Lodhi Gardens, and I’d just passed the 8km mark.  That’s when I glanced down at the GT 5 - expecting some lag or off-reading.  But no - it was spot-on, closely mirroring my Polar heart rate strap. Even after two hours, the battery barely budged. That experience marked a turning point in how I viewed Huawei's smartwatches.  The Watch GT series has always leaned into endurance over extravagance.  With the Watch GT 6 expected this fall, Huawei seems to be refining this formula - this time offering two case sizes and an array of bold new colors aimed at casual users and fitness-minded customers alike. But behind the color names and numbers lies som...
