Redmi K Pad leaks hint at compact gaming focus, 165Hz display, and flagship MediaTek chip

I think Xiaomi is making this for Mobile Gamers.

Xiaomi is preparing to enter the compact gaming tablet market with its upcoming Redmi K Pad, according to new product teasers and social media leaks spotted this week.

Based on the images and specs shared so far, the K Pad appears aimed squarely at users looking for high refresh rate displays and strong gaming performance in a smaller form factor - potentially competing with Lenovo’s Legion Y700 series and the next iPad Mini.

Leaked details point to an 8.8-inch IPS screen capable of 3K resolution and 165Hz refresh rates, as well as a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset.

Xiaomi executives have also highlighted an unusual 50:50 weight balance, possibly to aid handheld gaming comfort - though exact dimensions remain unclear.

Some of the more eye-catching specs include dual USB-C ports, dual x-axis linear motors for haptics, and a large vapour chamber cooling system - features more commonly seen in gaming phones than in mainstream Android tablets.

Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed a release date or global availability, but recent posts suggest an official China launch could happen later this month.

Whether this device eventually reaches international markets - where demand for powerful small tablets has grown — remains to be seen.

It too good that Company is using Dimensity 9400+ chip for gaming performance which is nice.

I spoke to Local phone retailer he told this could appeal creators and gamers alot.

if the pricing is decent this could dominate Market of Ipad mini
