Realme 15 Pro Plus India Launch: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, 7,000 mAh Battery, ₹28,999 Starting Price I still remember standing in a small mobile shop in Connaught Place five years ago, holding my first Realme phone. Pixel 10 Series Likely to Launch August 13 or 20 at Made by Google Event

Pixel 10 Series Likely to Launch August 13 or 20 at Made by Google Event

Pixel 10 Series Likely to Launch August 13 or 20 at Made by Google Event

Summary

Google may unveil the Pixel 10 series at the Made by Google event, likely on August 13 or 20.

The new phones will feature a Tensor G5 chip made by TSMC instead of Samsung.

Pre-orders may start August 28; prices expected to remain close to last year's models.

Google Expected to Launch Pixel 10 Series in August

Google is likely to reveal the much-awaited Pixel 10 series at its annual Made by Google event, which could take place on either August 13 or August 20, according to new leaks.

As of Monday, June 2, 2025, reports from Android Headlines and reliable tipster Arsène Lupin suggest a mid-to-late August launch, possibly with pre-orders starting August 28.

The event will showcase Google's next flagship smartphones, continuing the company's focus on blending hardware with advanced AI-powered software features.
New Chipset: Tensor G5 by TSMC

A major change this year is the shift in chipset manufacturing.

Google has reportedly dropped Samsung Foundry and partnered with TSMC for the Tensor G5, the processor powering the Pixel 10 lineup.

This move is expected to significantly improve thermal efficiency and processing speed, resolving past performance concerns seen with Tensor G4.

Sources close to the matter say the Tensor G5 will offer better heat management, leading to smoother performance and improved battery life.

The chip is still designed by Google but benefits from TSMC’s superior fabrication technology.

Expected Models in the Pixel 10 Series

The Pixel 10 series is likely to include four models:

Pixel 10

Pixel 10 Pro

Pixel 10 Pro XL

Pixel 10 Pro Fold

Each model will cater to different segments of users, from mid-range buyers to premium flagship enthusiasts.

The base Pixel 10 is rumored to introduce a telephoto camera, a first for a non-Pro Pixel model.

However, to maintain a competitive price point, Google may lower the quality of its main and ultrawide lenses compared to the previous generation.

The Pro and Pro XL models are expected to retain the same camera setup as the Pixel 9 series.

The Pixel Fold version will also continue Google's exploration into foldable smartphone design.

Design and AI Features

From leaked promotional materials and industry insiders, it appears that the Pixel 10 series will retain a similar design language to the Pixel 9, including the horizontal camera bar and clean UI layout.

However, Google is expected to introduce new AI-powered features, many of which were announced during Google I/O 2025.

Some of these features include:

Video Generative ML

Speak-to-Tweak

Sketch-to-Image

These tools use generative AI to improve user productivity and creativity, aligning with Google's long-term strategy to integrate AI deeply into its mobile ecosystem.

Pricing and Availability

Pricing details are not official yet, but insiders suggest the devices will be priced similarly to the Pixel 9 series:

Pixel 10: ₹79,990

Pixel 10 Pro: ₹99,999

Pixel 10 Pro Fold: ₹1,72,999

Pixel 10 Pro XL: Expected to increase slightly to ₹1,02,200

Google recently opened its official Google Store in India, which means Indian users will likely be able to pre-order the new Pixel phones directly. This move may improve customer experience and delivery timelines.

Past and Present Launch Patterns

Unlike Apple, which follows a consistent launch schedule in September, Google has a history of moving Pixel launches.

The Pixel 8 was launched in October 2023, while the company now appears to be returning to an August launch window.

This change may allow Google to compete more effectively by getting ahead of other major releases scheduled for the fall season.

Trusted Sources

According to tipster @MysteryLupin (Arsène Lupin) on X (formerly Twitter), the original expected date was August 13. However, Android Headlines now suggests August 20 may be more likely.

What Comes Next?

While no official invitation has been sent out yet, Google is expected to confirm the launch date and event details by early July.

Tech enthusiasts and Pixel fans are watching closely, especially with the new Tensor G5 chipset promising a fresh direction for Pixel smartphones.

Michael B Norris Author’s Opinion

The Pixel 10 series could mark a turning point for Google. If the Tensor G5 lives up to expectations, it may finally silence critics of Pixel performance.

More importantly, Google's AI push makes the Pixel not just a phone—but a platform. The upcoming launch could be Google's most impactful in years

OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed

OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed It was during a chaotic airport layover in early July when I first noticed how unwieldy most tablets still feel. A fellow traveler beside me was juggling video calls, PDFs, and spreadsheets on a device that looked cutting-edge but felt clunky. That’s when I remembered OnePlus was preparing to release its newest tablet - the OnePlus Pad 3. I made a mental note: if there was ever a moment a thinner, smarter, AI-enhanced tablet could matter, it was in that busy terminal. Fast forward a few weeks, and OnePlus has confirmed that the Pad 3 will officially go on sale in India this September.  While the announcement might sound like just another product launch in an already crowded market, the Pad 3 stands out - and not just for its specs.  With a blend of power, slim design, and meaningful software improvements, it signals how Android tablets are beginning to seriously challenge the iPad’s long-held...
