It felt like Realme had cracked the code for Indian buyers seeking high performance without spending a fortune. Today, the launch of the Realme 15 Pro Plus promises to revisit that philosophy, but with a far more ambitious approach. Power Under the Hood: Midrange Performance Redefined The Realme 15 Pro Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the standard Realme 15 comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ SoC. OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE 5, Nord Buds 4 Set for India Launch

  1. OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE 5, Nord Buds 4 Set for India Launch on July 8

Summary:

• OnePlus confirms July 8 launch date for new Nord devices in India

• Nord 5 powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with Pro Gamer Mode

• Nord Buds 4 to feature 3D spatial audio and LHDC 5.0 support

In what the company is calling the OnePlus Summer Launch event, OnePlus is set to unveil several new products in India on July 8, 2025 - including the long-awaited OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE 5, and Nord Buds 4.

The announcement, teased across official channels this week, hints at a new era for the brand’s Nord series.

Interestingly, the teaser campaign leans heavily into sleek, modern aesthetics that draw subtle parallels with Samsung’s S series - a move that seems designed to position Nord devices more squarely in the premium mid-range space.

What’s Coming: Phones and More

According to Telecom Talk recent reports Leading the lineup is the OnePlus Nord 5, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Gamers may be intrigued by its 7300mm² vapor chamber cooling system - designed to handle sustained performance for graphics-heavy sessions.

Equally notable is support for 144fps gameplay in popular titles like BGMI and Call of Duty:

Mobile. A new Pro Gamer Mode promises “Ultra” frame rates paired with medium graphics settings for smoother, more competitive play.

Also debuting at the event are the OnePlus Nord CE 5 and a new audio accessory: the Nord Buds 4.

These earbuds will come equipped with an 11mm woofer, 6mm tweeter, LHDC 5.0 codec, and 3D spatial audio support - a spec sheet that suggests OnePlus is targeting audiophiles and casual listeners alike.

One More Device - But Not Yet

Oddly missing from this month’s announcement is the much-rumored OnePlus Nord CE 5 Lite.

which had been tipped to become the most affordable option in the Nord range.

Industry observers like TechCrunch have speculated that OnePlus may stagger releases to sustain momentum through Q3. “Delaying the CE 5 Lite allows OnePlus to focus marketing on its flagship Nord 5,” an unnamed analyst told Android Central this week.

What This Means for Users

For most users in India, this refresh brings meaningful updates - especially for mobile gamers and content consumers.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 should close the gap between flagship chips and mid-range pricing.

while Pro Gamer Mode hints at a user experience tailored for India’s booming gaming market.

On the audio front, Nord Buds 4 could offer a solid upgrade path for current TWS users looking for better sound without entering the premium tier.

Context From Industry Experts

According to Mark Gurman at Bloomberg, the mid-range smartphone segment in India remains fiercely competitive, with brands like Realme, Xiaomi, and Samsung continuously iterating.

“Devices like the Nord 5 need to stand out not just on price, but on user experience and after-sale ecosystem,” Gurman notes in a recent column.

The addition of gaming-centric features and advanced audio specs may be OnePlus’s answer.

Final Thoughts

At first glance, this seems like a simple refresh cycle. But with premium cooling, 144fps support, and improved audio hardware.

OnePlus appears to be subtly repositioning the Nord lineup - not just for price-conscious buyers, but also for enthusiasts who value performance in everyday use.

What stood out most in the teaser? Surprisingly, not the raw specs, but how much the design language echoes Samsung’s high-end flagships.

Whether this strategy clicks with Indian consumers - we’ll find out after July 8.

Realme GT 7 vs OnePlus 13R in India: Which Mid-Range Phone is Best for Gamers or Power Users I remember standing outside Connaught Place under the harsh Delhi sun, juggling two phones in my hands - Realme GT 7 in my left, OnePlus 13R in my right. This article compares the Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R in real-world usage, helping Indian consumers decide which mid-range flagship phone best fits their needs My goal was simple: find out which of these mid-range flagships could survive a day of heavy gaming, social media scrolling, photography, and constant notifications without faltering. OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed

OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed It was during a chaotic airport layover in early July when I first noticed how unwieldy most tablets still feel. A fellow traveler beside me was juggling video calls, PDFs, and spreadsheets on a device that looked cutting-edge but felt clunky. That’s when I remembered OnePlus was preparing to release its newest tablet - the OnePlus Pad 3. I made a mental note: if there was ever a moment a thinner, smarter, AI-enhanced tablet could matter, it was in that busy terminal. Fast forward a few weeks, and OnePlus has confirmed that the Pad 3 will officially go on sale in India this September.  While the announcement might sound like just another product launch in an already crowded market, the Pad 3 stands out - and not just for its specs.  With a blend of power, slim design, and meaningful software improvements, it signals how Android tablets are beginning to seriously challenge the iPad’s long-held...
