Oppo Reno14 Pro Global Variant Spotted on Geekbench with Dimensity 8450

Oppo Reno14 Pro Global Variant Spotted on Geekbench with Dimensity 8450

Oppo Reno14 Pro Global Variant Spotted on Geekbench with Dimensity 8450

Summary Box

Oppo Reno14 Pro global model surfaces on Geekbench with Dimensity 8450 chipset.

Model number CPH2739 confirms it's the international variant, not Chinese.

Specifications likely to mirror the Chinese version, including 6.83-inch AMOLED display and triple 50MP camera system.

Global Oppo Reno14 Pro Spotted on Geekbench

The global version of the Oppo Reno14 Pro has officially made its appearance on Geekbench as of June 3, 2025.

This listing provides strong evidence that the phone will soon launch internationally.

Oppo initially launched the Reno14 series, including the Reno14 and Reno14 Pro, in China during mid-May 2025.

The device was listed with the model number CPH2739, which aligns with Oppo’s international product naming convention.

Chinese models typically do not carry the "CPH" prefix, making this a clear indicator that the listing is for the global or Indian variant.

Flagship Chipset for Global Market

According to GSMArena The Geekbench listing reveals that the international Reno14 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset.

This is the same processor used in the Chinese version of the phone.

That’s notable because Chinese smartphone makers often release downgraded versions for international markets. In this case, Oppo seems to have opted for feature parity.

The chipset features:

1 Cortex-A725 core at 3.25 GHz

3 Cortex-A725 cores at 3.00 GHz

4 Cortex-A725 cores at 2.10 GHz

Mali-G720 MC7 GPU

The benchmarked device had 12GB of RAM, but Oppo could offer more configurations at launch. The phone is also shown to be running Android 15 out of the box.

Launch Timeline and Software Considerations

Although Android 15 is likely the launch OS, Google is expected to release Android 16 later this month.

With the Reno14 Pro’s international debut rumored for July 2025, Oppo may face pressure to update its devices promptly.

Software update frequency is a key consideration for users in global markets.

While Android 15 is stable, timely upgrades to newer versions would help maintain user trust and competitiveness.

Expected Specifications Based on Chinese Model

If the global Reno14 Pro shares specs with the Chinese version, users can expect a premium hardware package, including:

Display: 6.83-inch AMOLED screen

Resolution: 1272 × 2800 pixels

Refresh Rate: 120Hz

Peak Brightness: 1,200 nits

Storage Options:

256GB

512GB

1TB

Rear Camera System:

50MP main sensor with OIS

50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom

50MP ultrawide lens with 116° field-of-view

Front Camera:

50MP for selfies and video calls

Battery:

6,200 mAh capacity

80W wired charging support

50W wireless charging

This high-end configuration positions the Reno14 Pro to compete directly with other flagship Android phones in markets like India, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

Google AI Integration Hints at Global Expansion

Oppo previously hinted at an international launch when it advertised Google Gemini AI integration in May.

This move indicated a broader software strategy and alignment with Google’s ecosystem, making the Reno14 Pro more attractive to users outside China.

No Word Yet on Price or Exact Launch Date

Oppo has not officially announced pricing or an exact launch date for the international Reno14 Pro.

However, the Geekbench appearance and previous marketing efforts suggest that the device could debut by July 2025.

The phone’s placement in the premium mid-range or upper-tier category will depend on final regional pricing.

Given its strong specs, the Reno14 Pro is expected to target users seeking flagship-like performance without the ultra-premium price.

What’s Next for Oppo

Oppo’s decision to maintain top-tier hardware for its global Reno14 Pro is a significant shift. In past years, international variants often saw reduced features.

This year, the company appears to be focusing on a consistent, high-performance experience globally.

As the phone moves closer to launch, Tech outlook industry watchers will be looking for details on pricing, availability, and software update commitments—all key factors in winning customer trust and loyalty in global markets.

Oppo’s move to keep the Dimensity 8450 in both Chinese and global Reno14 Pro models signals a welcome change in strategy.

It suggests the company is ready to compete more seriously in international markets.

By offering top specs without downgrades, Oppo may finally challenge the dominance of players like Samsung and Xiaomi in key regions like India and Southeast Asia.

However, timely software support remains a weak point for many Chinese brands.

If Oppo can commit to frequent updates and longer support cycles, the Reno14 Pro might become a breakout hit.

OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed

OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed It was during a chaotic airport layover in early July when I first noticed how unwieldy most tablets still feel. A fellow traveler beside me was juggling video calls, PDFs, and spreadsheets on a device that looked cutting-edge but felt clunky. That’s when I remembered OnePlus was preparing to release its newest tablet - the OnePlus Pad 3. I made a mental note: if there was ever a moment a thinner, smarter, AI-enhanced tablet could matter, it was in that busy terminal. Fast forward a few weeks, and OnePlus has confirmed that the Pad 3 will officially go on sale in India this September.  While the announcement might sound like just another product launch in an already crowded market, the Pad 3 stands out - and not just for its specs.  With a blend of power, slim design, and meaningful software improvements, it signals how Android tablets are beginning to seriously challenge the iPad’s long-held...
