Realme 15 Pro Plus India Launch: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, 7,000 mAh Battery, ₹28,999 Starting Price I still remember standing in a small mobile shop in Connaught Place five years ago, holding my first Realme phone. The device was surprisingly snappy, yet affordable - an unusual combination at the time. It felt like Realme had cracked the code for Indian buyers seeking high performance without spending a fortune. Today, the launch of the Realme 15 Pro Plus promises to revisit that philosophy, but with a far more ambitious approach. This article evaluates whether Realme’s latest midrange flagship lives up to the hype, combining real-world hands-on impressions, local insights, and verified specifications. Power Under the Hood: Midrange Performance Redefined The Realme 15 Pro Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the standard Realme 15 comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ SoC. Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G launches in India with 6,000mAh battery

Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G launches in India with 6,000mAh battery

Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G Debuts in India with 6,000mAh Battery, Affordable 5G Performance

Summary:

Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G launches in India with a 6,000mAh battery and Dimensity 6300 chipset

Features a 120Hz display, Android 15, and starting price of INR 9,999 (limited time)

Targets budget users seeking affordable 5G experience

In a move aimed squarely at India’s fast-growing budget 5G segment, Realme on Monday officially launched its Narzo 80 Lite 5G smartphone.

While the name may sound fresh, a closer look reveals that the device is essentially a rebranded Realme C73 - same features, new badge.

Yet, it arrives with an attractive combination of large battery, modern display, and 5G capability, all at a wallet-friendly price point. For many first-time 5G buyers, that may be enough.

Familiar Specs, New Label

According to Giz China Recent Reports The Narzo 80 Lite 5G features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate - a welcome addition for smoother scrolling and casual gaming.

The screen offers a peak brightness of 625 nits, meaning most users won’t struggle with outdoor visibility.

Under the hood, the phone runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset. It’s an entry-level 5G SoC designed to handle daily tasks and light multitasking.

While it won’t break benchmark records, most users likely won’t mind - the focus here is on connectivity and battery life.

Curiously, despite the modern spec sheet, there is no mention of AI-driven enhancements or advanced imaging features - a growing trend in this year’s mid-range devices.

Storage and Software

Realme offers the device in two variants: 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.

Both provide generous onboard memory, especially at this price. And for those who regularly swap devices, there’s good news - the phone ships with Android 15 via Realme UI 6, keeping it in step with current software trends.

Massive Battery for Long Days

Where the Narzo 80 Lite 5G aims to stand out is battery life.

The smartphone packs a hefty 6,000mAh battery - one of the largest in this segment. It supports 15W wired charging.

What does that mean in practice? Most casual users can likely expect nearly two full days of usage per charge.

Anyone gaming on the go or frequently traveling will likely appreciate this quietly - long battery endurance remains one of the simplest, most human-friendly features in any phone.

Cameras: Basic but Functional

The Narzo 80 Lite 5G includes a 32MP rear main camera (GC32E2 sensor) and an 8MP front camera.

In good lighting, these should deliver decent shots for social media and video calls.

But don’t expect flagship-level photography - this is clearly a device focused on connectivity and endurance, not creative photography.

Interestingly, there’s no mention of advanced camera modes or computational photography, which many users now expect even in affordable models.

Pricing and Availability

Realme has priced the Narzo 80 Lite 5G competitively:

4GB + 128GB: INR 10,499 (Introductory offer: INR 9,999)

6GB + 128GB: INR 11,499 (Introductory offer: INR 10,799)

The phone goes on sale starting June 20, 2025, via Amazon India.

At these prices, it goes head-to-head with affordable 5G offerings from Redmi, Motorola, and Lava in India’s budget segment.

What This Means for Users

On paper, this is a modest update. In practice, the Narzo 80 Lite 5G is clearly positioned as a first-5G phone - ideal for users upgrading from 4G or seeking a secondary device.

What stood out most? Not the speed, but the battery size.

In a market now saturated with look-alike specs, that alone may help this model carve out a niche with users seeking long battery life.

Context from Industry Experts

According to market analysts, India’s entry-level 5G market is expected to double in size by year’s end.

Devices priced under INR 12,000 with large batteries and stock Android are proving especially popular in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

“Realme seems to be playing directly into this demand,” notes Ramesh Kapoor, a mobile industry analyst based in Bengaluru. “While the device itself isn’t revolutionary, the combination of 5G + 6,000mAh battery + Android 15 at this price will appeal to many buyers.”

Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R Launch in India: Mid-Range Flagships with Flagship Features

Realme GT 7 vs OnePlus 13R in India: Which Mid-Range Phone is Best for Gamers or Power Users I remember standing outside Connaught Place under the harsh Delhi sun, juggling two phones in my hands - Realme GT 7 in my left, OnePlus 13R in my right. This article compares the Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R in real-world usage, helping Indian consumers decide which mid-range flagship phone best fits their needs My goal was simple: find out which of these mid-range flagships could survive a day of heavy gaming, social media scrolling, photography, and constant notifications without faltering. OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed

OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed It was during a chaotic airport layover in early July when I first noticed how unwieldy most tablets still feel. A fellow traveler beside me was juggling video calls, PDFs, and spreadsheets on a device that looked cutting-edge but felt clunky. That’s when I remembered OnePlus was preparing to release its newest tablet - the OnePlus Pad 3. I made a mental note: if there was ever a moment a thinner, smarter, AI-enhanced tablet could matter, it was in that busy terminal. Fast forward a few weeks, and OnePlus has confirmed that the Pad 3 will officially go on sale in India this September.  While the announcement might sound like just another product launch in an already crowded market, the Pad 3 stands out - and not just for its specs.  With a blend of power, slim design, and meaningful software improvements, it signals how Android tablets are beginning to seriously challenge the iPad’s long-held...
