EMI plans start at ₹412 per month, making this phone accessible to budget-conscious buyers.

The smartphone is available in two colours: Midnight Black and Lavender Purple.

Specifications That Matter

The Redmi A4 5G is equipped with several impressive features despite its budget price tag.

It sports a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smoother scrolling and animations.

The display offers peak brightness of 600 nits and is TÜV Rheinland triple-certified for eye protection.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset.

It is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.

The phone supports 18W fast charging via USB Type-C and comes bundled with a 33W fast charger—a rare inclusion at this price point.

Camera Setup Optimized for Everyday Use

Why the Price Drop?

While Xiaomi has not issued an official statement on the reason for the price cut, it aligns with the company’s typical strategy of adjusting prices post-launch to attract a wider user base.

According to indiatv and market analysts, mid-cycle price drops also help maintain sales momentum amid competition in the budget 5G segment.

Consumer Access and EMI Options

The phone’s availability on Amazon India with flexible EMI options lowers the barrier for students, first-time smartphone buyers, and budget-conscious consumers.

Financial institutions are also offering attractive bank offers, including no-cost EMI and instant discounts on selected credit and debit cards.

Industry Perspective

According to mobile analyst Ashok Mathur, “The Redmi A4 5G hits the sweet spot in the Indian market, combining 5G support with day-to-day utility features like long battery life and reliable performance.

The Redmi A4 5G stands out in the crowded budget segment. Its 5160mAh battery, fast refresh rate display, and latest Android-based OS make it more than just an affordable 5G device.

The decision to include a 33W charger and keep the headphone jack is practical and user-friendly. While the camera system is modest, it meets expectations at this price point.

Xiaomi’s aggressive pricing makes this phone one of the best options under ₹10,000 in 2025. The real success will depend on after-sales support.

Huawei Watch GT 6 India Launch Leak: Two Sizes, Stylish Colors, Long Battery

Huawei Watch GT 6 India Launch Leak: Two Sizes, Stylish Colors, Long Battery New Delhi – July 23, 2025 By Michael B. Norris, Senior Tech Correspondent   When I ran my first half-marathon wearing the Huawei Watch GT 5, I didn’t expect it to outperform my chest strap monitor. It was early morning, cool winds cutting through Lodhi Gardens, and I’d just passed the 8km mark.  That’s when I glanced down at the GT 5 - expecting some lag or off-reading.  But no - it was spot-on, closely mirroring my Polar heart rate strap. Even after two hours, the battery barely budged. That experience marked a turning point in how I viewed Huawei's smartwatches.  The Watch GT series has always leaned into endurance over extravagance.  With the Watch GT 6 expected this fall, Huawei seems to be refining this formula - this time offering two case sizes and an array of bold new colors aimed at casual users and fitness-minded customers alike. But behind the color names and numbers lies som...

HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 Launched in India: 2000-Nit OLED, Glide Keyboard, Stylus Support

HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 Launched in India: 2000-Nit OLED, Glide Keyboard, Stylus Support By Michael B Norris - July 25, 2025   I Left My Laptop Behind - And Didn’t Regret It Last month, I was en route to a regional tech forum in Kuala Lumpur. My usual travel companion? A compact but heavy ultrabook that’s been my workhorse for years. But this time, by accident more than intention, I left it charging at the office.  What I had in my bag instead was the newly released HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 inch, still wrapped in review plastic and paired with its Glide Keyboard and M-Pencil. With deadlines looming and hours of panel coverage ahead, the panic should’ve hit me - but surprisingly, it didn’t. Over the next three days, I typed reports, edited video snippets, drew rough infographic sketches, and livestreamed commentary - all from this 508g tablet. It wasn’t just functional; it was liberating. That field experience is what makes the “Can tablets replace laptops?” debate more real th...
