Samsung Galaxy S25 Gets One UI 7 Update in Europe

Firmware brings stability improvements, not new features

Samsung is reportedly rolling out a new firmware update based on One UI 7 for its flagship Galaxy S25 series in Europe.

The update, though not feature-rich, focuses on enhancing the stability and overall usability of the devices, according to a report by Gadget360.

Update Overview

The firmware update is now live for the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

All three models receive a sizable update weighing approximately 1.28GB. Users can expect minor improvements in performance and device stability.

Device        Firmware Build Number

Galaxy S25 S921BXXU4BYE7

Galaxy S25+ S926BXXU4BYE7

Galaxy S25 Ultra S928BXXU4BYE7

Despite its large file size, the update does not bring any new features or security patches beyond those already included in the May 2025 update.

📱 What’s in the Update?

Samsung has not issued a detailed changelog. Instead, the update is listed with general notes such as:

Device stability improvements

Bug fixes

Performance enhancements

There are no additional features or design changes visible post-installation. However, these types of updates often lay the groundwork for future updates or improvements to One UI apps and services.

How to Update

To manually check and install the update:

Settings > Software Update > Download and Install

Samsung advises users to ensure that their device has at least 50% battery charge before starting the installation.

Once installed, users should also check the Galaxy Store for any pending updates to Samsung’s first-party applications.

The update retains the May 2025 security patch, which was previously introduced for the S25 lineup under a different One UI 7 release last month.

Currently Limited to Europe

As of now, the update is only being rolled out in European markets. However, Samsung typically expands such updates to other regions in the following weeks.

Interestingly, the report notes that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, the newest member of the S25 family, is not included in this rollout.

Reasons for the exclusion are not yet clear, but a separate update for the Edge model may be on the horizon.

Industry Response

While this update does not introduce flashy features, it reflects Samsung's consistent commitment to maintaining system stability and delivering timely support.

For many users, especially those using their phones for productivity and professional tasks, system reliability is just as important as new features.

Moreover, the Galaxy S25 series already ships with One UI 7 out of the box, built on Android 15, offering users the latest in Samsung’s software experience.

The update may be part of Samsung’s broader testing framework in preparation for the One UI 8 beta, which is rumored to arrive in the coming months.

🔜 What’s Next?

Samsung is expected to roll out One UI 8 based on Android 16 in the second half of 2025, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 series.

For now, this One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S25 lineup ensures smoother daily performance and prepares the device for upcoming enhancements.

OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed

OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed It was during a chaotic airport layover in early July when I first noticed how unwieldy most tablets still feel. A fellow traveler beside me was juggling video calls, PDFs, and spreadsheets on a device that looked cutting-edge but felt clunky. That’s when I remembered OnePlus was preparing to release its newest tablet - the OnePlus Pad 3. I made a mental note: if there was ever a moment a thinner, smarter, AI-enhanced tablet could matter, it was in that busy terminal. Fast forward a few weeks, and OnePlus has confirmed that the Pad 3 will officially go on sale in India this September.  While the announcement might sound like just another product launch in an already crowded market, the Pad 3 stands out - and not just for its specs.  With a blend of power, slim design, and meaningful software improvements, it signals how Android tablets are beginning to seriously challenge the iPad’s long-held...
