Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro Certified, Launch Expected in June

Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro Bags Bluetooth SIG Certification, Expected to Launch in June 2025

Summary Box:

Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5" receives Bluetooth SIG certification, suggesting imminent launch.

Tipped to feature Xiaomi’s in-house Xring O1 chip instead of Snapdragon.

Expected to be more affordable than Pad 7 Ultra, with an LCD display and 120W charging.

New Xiaomi Devices Certified by Bluetooth SIG

On June 2, 2025, reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station revealed through Weibo that several upcoming Xiaomi products have received Bluetooth SIG certification. These include:

Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5-inch

Pad 7S Pro Soft Light version

Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s Fashion Imaging Kit

Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm

This development indicates that Xiaomi may soon announce the official launch of these products in China, with the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro expected to debut within this month.

Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro: A New Flagship Tablet Incoming

The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, now certified by Bluetooth SIG, is expected to be a high-end tablet.

It will likely sport a 12.5-inch LCD display. The model has also been seen at China’s 3C certification platform, paired with a 120W fast charger.

This indicates that the device may offer fast-charging capabilities, possibly similar to what is available in Xiaomi's premium smartphones.

Rumored Specs: Xring O1 Chip May Power the Tablet

According to Gizmo china industry insiders, Xiaomi could power the Pad 7S Pro with its own Xring O1 chip, replacing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which was used in previous models like the Pad 6 series.

The Xring O1 chip also runs the recently launched Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and Xiaomi 15s Pro.

While early user feedback has been encouraging, smartphone users have reported thermal throttling and modem limitations with the O1 chip.

However, the larger form factor of the Pad 7S Pro may help offset these issues.

Tablets naturally allow for better heat dissipation, possibly improving CPU performance and device stability.

Positioning: A Step Below the Pad 7 Ultra

While Xiaomi has not officially revealed the tablet’s full specifications, reports suggest that the Pad 7S Pro will be positioned below the Pad 7 Ultra.

Pad 7S Pro: LCD panel, Xring O1 chip, 120W fast charging

Pad 7 Ultra: AMOLED display, similar chipset, likely more premium materials

This placement could help Xiaomi offer its in-house chip at a lower price point, potentially expanding its reach in the high-performance tablet market.

Why This Certification Matters

Bluetooth SIG certification is often a final step before launch.

It indicates that the hardware is compliant with global wireless standards and is ready for mass production.

With June already underway, Xiaomi may unveil the Pad 7S Pro before the end of this month in China, aligning with their usual product cycle.

Other Certified Devices: Fashion Imaging Kit and Watch S4

In addition to the Pad 7S Pro, two other products were certified:

Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s Fashion Imaging Kit – Expected to enhance mobile photography, possibly including filters or AI-based features.

Xiaomi Watch S4 (41mm) – A smaller variant of Xiaomi’s existing smartwatch lineup.

While details on these accessories remain limited, certification suggests they may be unveiled alongside the Pad 7S Pro.

Author’s Opinion: By Michael B. Norris

The Bluetooth SIG certification of the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro signals Xiaomi’s strategic move toward self-reliant hardware development.

The Xring O1 chip, despite its mixed smartphone feedback, has the potential to shine in a tablet environment.

If priced competitively, this tablet could lower the barrier for users to experience Xiaomi’s in-house technology, giving it an edge in China’s crowded tablet market.

OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed

OnePlus Pad 3 Launch Confirmed: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 3K Display, Big Battery Revealed It was during a chaotic airport layover in early July when I first noticed how unwieldy most tablets still feel. A fellow traveler beside me was juggling video calls, PDFs, and spreadsheets on a device that looked cutting-edge but felt clunky. That’s when I remembered OnePlus was preparing to release its newest tablet - the OnePlus Pad 3. I made a mental note: if there was ever a moment a thinner, smarter, AI-enhanced tablet could matter, it was in that busy terminal. Fast forward a few weeks, and OnePlus has confirmed that the Pad 3 will officially go on sale in India this September.  While the announcement might sound like just another product launch in an already crowded market, the Pad 3 stands out - and not just for its specs.  With a blend of power, slim design, and meaningful software improvements, it signals how Android tablets are beginning to seriously challenge the iPad’s long-held...
